Day 1:Arrival in Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, one of our friendly representatives will meet you and assist with all arrival procedures. You’ll then be escorted in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Relax and settle in after your journey.

Day 2:The Great Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your expert Egyptologist guide will take you on an unforgettable day tour. Begin at the Giza Plateau to witness the Great Pyramids—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Marvel at the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Continue your journey through time with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of ancient artifacts, including the stunning treasures of King Tutankhamun.

Day 3:Coptic Cairo – Maadi Church & Old Cairo

Start your day with breakfast, then explore some of the most revered Christian landmarks in Cairo. Visit the Church of the Virgin Mary in Maadi, where the Holy Family is believed to have sailed up the Nile. Continue to Old Cairo to explore the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius (built over a cave the Holy Family once sheltered in), the Church of St. George, and the Babylon Fortress.

Day 4:El Matareya & Zeitoun Churches

After breakfast, head to El Matareya, an area rich in Christian heritage. See Mary’s Tree, under which the Holy Family is said to have rested. Nearby, a spring of water reportedly gushed forth to quench their thirst. Discover the balsam plant, used to make holy oil for church rituals.

Then continue to Zeitoun to visit the beautifully adorned Church of the Virgin Mary, famous for miraculous apparitions of the Virgin witnessed by thousands.

Day 5:Mostorod – Samanoud – Sakha

Begin with a visit to Mostorod, known as “El Mahamma”—meaning the bathing place—where the Virgin is believed to have bathed Jesus. Continue to Samanoud to see where the townspeople welcomed the Holy Family warmly. Visit the modern-day Church of St. Abanoub, which stands on the site of a much older church.

Conclude in Sakha, known for a stone bearing what is believed to be the footprint of Jesus.

Day 6:Tel Basta & Tanis

Travel to Tel Basta (ancient Bubastis), where Jesus is said to have brought forth a spring of water. Then head to Tanis, once the royal city of the 21st and 22nd Dynasties. Explore the ruins of temples, royal tombs, and statues of Ramses II.

Day 7:Red Sea Monasteries – Jabal Al Tair – Minya

After breakfast, depart Cairo for the Red Sea Mountains to visit the ancient Monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul. These spiritual sites are nestled deep in the Eastern Desert and are among the oldest Christian monasteries in the world.

Later, head to Jabal Al Tair near Minya to visit the cave where the Holy Family found refuge. The cave is now part of an ancient church perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the Nile.

Day 8:Tuna El-Gebel – Al Ashmunien – Beni Hassan – Assiut

Enjoy breakfast before heading to the archaeological site of Tuna El-Gebel. Here, explore catacombs dedicated to the god Thoth, the tomb of Isadora, and other Greco-Roman remains. Continue to Al Ashmunien to see its open-air museum, pink granite columns, and ruins of a basilica.

Then visit Beni Hassan, famous for its rock-cut tombs from the Middle Kingdom featuring vibrant wall scenes of daily life, sports, and warfare.

Day 9:Muharraq Monastery – Return to Cairo

On your return to Cairo, stop at the rock-cut tombs of Meir, belonging to noble families of the Old and Middle Kingdoms.

Price Policy

All prices are listed in USD per person per trip. Secure online payments can be made through a payment gateway with no additional fees or surcharges. The initial price is based on one adult in a group size, with the lowest price available during the low season.

Tour Voucher

Once your tour is confirmed, you will receive an email with the final confirmation and a voucher to print and bring with you. The voucher will include customer care and tour operator contact details, along with all necessary information for your convenience.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in any package and is left to the discretion of travelers. While not mandatory, it is highly appreciated by those who assist you during your trip.

Children Policy

  • 0 – 1.99 years old: Free of charge (unless flights are included).
  • 2 – 5.99 years old: 25% of the tour price or 50% if flights or a sleeper train are included.
  • 6 – 11.99 years old: 50% of the tour price.
  • 12+ years old: Full adult price.

If the tour package includes airfare, additional charges may apply for children.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fees apply for tours or excursions canceled due to force majeure events such as natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances beyond control. However, if cancellations occur for personal or business reasons and costs have already been incurred, those expenses will be passed on to the traveler.

  • Less than 30 days before check-in: 100% of the total amount will be charged.
  • 31 to 60 days before check-in: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • 61 to 90 days before check-in: 15% of the total amount will be charged.

Deposit and Payment

A 50% deposit is required upon confirming your tour booking. Payments can be made via credit or debit card (MasterCard/Visa) through a secure online payment system. The remaining balance must be paid in cash upon the start of the tour.

Travel Insurance

For added peace of mind, travelers are encouraged to secure their trip with a travel insurance program. One-week coverage is available for $25 per person.

Tour packages do not include entry fees for special archaeological sites such as:

  • Walking inside the pyramids.
  • Tombs of Seti I and Ramses V in the Valley of the Kings
  • Entering the Tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

These sites require additional entry fees. Please contact us if you wish to modify or add activities to your program.

Other personal expenses may include:

  • Visa fees and recreational activities.
  • Services not listed in the package.

In case of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or flight cancellations, travelers are responsible for additional hotel nights and meals.
